IKEA Warrington, WA5 7TY, are looking to welcome a Food & Beverage stores person to the team. Are you someone who enjoys keeping things perfectly chilled and organized? Join the IKEA Food team where you'll manage the flow of our deliveries, taking care of tasty consignments and ensuring everything is tip-top and in its right, often cold, place! Using pallet trucks and safe manual handling with heavy goods, your commitment to order and safety will keep our customers and co-workers happy.

All applicants are required to be 18 years of age or older, in accordance with health and safety regulations. For everyone's safety, jewellery and piercings need to be removed while working in our food and restaurant spaces. If you wear a religious or medical item, just let us know; we'll work with you to find a safe solution.

WHAT WE OFFER

Start Date for this role will be: 9th of September 2026. Hourly rate of £13.45, 30 hours weekly, working 5 days out of 7, including occasional Saturdays and every Sunday. Working hours are between 6am to 8pm. We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview. Most shifts for this role will start at 6am. Please be aware that links to the store by public transport may be infrequent. If you will be using public transport to get to the store we ask you to consider your transport route before you apply. Final offers of employment are contingent upon clear results in mandatory background checks. Background checks are required for all candidates who receive an offer of employment. This role requires a medical questionnaire.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

Enjoy working in an environment that is varied where you will need to switch tasks and manage a number of priorities. You work well as part of a team, understanding how your individual contribution enhances overall team performance. You approach tasks in a thorough and organized way that allows you to maintain focus even during busy periods.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

The role will involve receiving, checking and storing all food deliveries. Maintaining all food storage areas, ensuring they are clean, tidy and stock is rotated by date. Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers. Support your colleagues, pitch in and develop a positive work environment. Movement of stock to and from location with the use of a powered pallet truck, medical check and training will be provided. Working in cold environments such as outside and freezers. Manual handling of heavy stock to various storage locations. You assist other members of your team whenever you can contributing to a collaborative work environment.
