IKEA Oxford Street are looking to welcome a Sales & Sustainability Assistant. In IKEA, we call this a Product Quality and Recovery Co-Worker. Do you want to put your creativity and problem-solving talents to work in a role focused on building and restoring products? As you bring IKEA products to life, each task becomes a practical puzzle transforming a box of components into a stylish, functional piece that will enhance our customers' homes. You'll also have opportunities to repurpose existing furniture, blending artistry with precision while ensuring every item meets our high standards.
WHAT WE OFFER
The Start Date of employment will be 19th September 2026. Competitive hourly rate of £14.80 per hour. 24 hours working 4 days per week including day shift, evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends per month. We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Re-purpose and present IKEA products with pride to create a welcoming customer experience and support positive business performance.
- Work closely with the different functions in the unit to support range changes and to ensure that the product quality of displayed furniture is maintained, and use your initiative to intervene when necessary.
- Support, execute and follow the product quality guidelines for recalled, returned and ex-display stock, to constantly improve customers' perception of our IKEA products.
- Ensure furniture is assembled correctly and secured in accordance with health, safety, and manual handling protocols to maintain a safe shopping and working environment for visitors and co-workers.
