IKEA Milton Keynes are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to join our team. A Sales Assistant at IKEA supports customers by offering helpful advice, keeping the sales area well stocked and organised, and ensuring products are clearly displayed and easy to buy while delivering a friendly, positive shopping experience.

WHAT WE OFFER
  • The start date of employment will be: 10th May.
  • Competitive hourly rate of £14.15 per hour.
  • Availability is required for weekday day shifts, evenings, and both weekend days (Saturday and Sunday), with every 4th weekend off.
  • We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.
  • The contracts we have available are:
    • 20 hours a week in Textiles.
    • 16 hours a week in Textiles.
    • 24 hours a week in Bedrooms.
    • 20 hours a week in Cookshop.

  • You prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
  • You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.
  • You are always enthusiastic about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
  • You support maximising sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
