Warehouse Operative – Responsibilities

  • You will be required to manually handle all of our products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes.
  • Serving customers in the warehouse, balancing both warehouse and customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility, which includes, manual handling of heavy stock, receiving and replenishing goods with accuracy, picking and packing customer orders and keeping accurate records of stock levels.
  • Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.

Candidate Profile

  • Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
  • Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • You are prepared to act on your own initiative and to participate in group efforts.
  • You are comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support with the picking/filling of stock or to answer customer questions.

Requirements

  • Final offers of employment are contingent upon clear results in mandatory background checks. Backgrounds checks are required for all candidates who receive an offer of employment.

Work Hours & Start Date

The Start Date of employment will be: 3rd October 2026

Part Time: 18-32 hours working 3-5 days per week including late evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends.

Hours of operations for this area are from 4am until 10pm and we are looking for people with a variety of availability, including daytimes, evenings and weekends. Please be aware that links by public transport to the store may be infrequent. If you will be using public transport to get to the store we ask you to consider your transport route before you apply.

Pay & Benefits

  • This role offers an hourly rate of Β£14.15
  • Nightshift allowance of Β£2.25 per hour applies for hours worked between 10pm and 6am.
