Are you someone who enjoys keeping things perfectly chilled and organised? Join the IKEA Food team, where you'll manage the flow of our deliveries, taking care of tasty consignments and ensuring everything is tip-top and in its right, often cold, place!

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving deliveries and replenishing all food storage areas, ensuring they are clean, tidy and stock is rotated by date.
  • Following safety protocols and regulations to secure a safe environment for both customers and co-workers.
  • Movement of stock to and from location with the use of a powered pallet truck; medical check and training will be provided.
  • Working in cold environments such as outside and freezers.
  • Manual handling of heavy stock to various storage locations.
  • Assisting other members of your team to contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Occasionally working across the Swedish Food Market & Bistro and Kitchen serving food, taking payments, cleaning the Bistro and preparing food.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in logistics, fulfilment or goods receiving.
  • Organised and analytical approach to stock inventory.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, understanding how individual contributions enhance overall team performance.
  • Thorough and organised approach to tasks, maintaining focus even during busy periods.
  • Enjoyment of physically demanding roles, including working across the department and in freezers.
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older, in accordance with health and safety regulations.

  • Hourly rate of £14.15.
  • Part-time contract working 30 hours per week, which will be worked 4 days out of 7, including weekends and shift start times of 06:00am.
