IKEA Milton Keynes is looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team.
What we offer:
- Start Date of employment: December 2025
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.25 per hour
- 30 hours per week over 4–5 days, shift days, evenings and both weekend days between 9am and 9:30pm. Every 4th weekend off. Discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

What you’ll need to have:
- Take initiative, juggle several responsibilities at once, value teamwork and work independently
- Customer‑first mindset, making the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do
- Computer‑literate and able to work with technology
- Confidence to maintain composure and patience when dealing with a variety of customers and complex complaints
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Use your knowledge, resilience and problem‑solving skills to resolve customer complaints quickly and positively
- Ensure accurate handling of all returned products, highlight and escalated any product issues immediately
- Support customers experiencing difficulty in product assembly and, where needed, order and exchange spare parts
