Are you looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? We are seeking Warehouse Assistants to join various areas within our Fulfilment team in IKEA Belfast. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. WHAT WE OFFER

  • Start Date of employment will be: July 2025
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour
  • Contract sizes and working patterns can be discussed during the interview to match your needs and our business requirements.

Working Areas and Contracts

  • Replenishment Area: 30-hour contracts with set shifts from 4am-10am, 5 days a week, with 1 in 3 weekends off. Night-shift allowance of £2.25 paid for hours between 4am-6am.
  • Order Picking Area: Contracts of 20, 24, and 30 hours, working between 8am-9pm, with 1 in 4 weekends off.
  • Customer Facing Area: Contracts of 12 and 30 hours, working between 8:30am-8pm, with 1 in 3 weekends off.

What You Need to Have

  • Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential; enthusiasm to thrive in an active workplace is required.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with IT systems to improve productivity.
  • Self-initiative and productive participation in team efforts.
  • Applicants must be 18 or older to comply with health and safety guidelines.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manual handling of heavy stock.
  • Working with heavy machinery such as forklifts, counterbalance, and pump trucks to transport goods safely.
  • Following all safety protocols for a secure environment.

Replenishment

  • Ensuring stock availability for in-store and online customers.

Order Picking

  • Picking and preparing orders for collection or delivery.

Customer Facing

  • Supporting customers in the self-service area, organizing stock, and collaborating across departments.
