IKEA Southampton are looking to welcome part‑time Sales Assistants to join our passionate team. These contracts are 12/16 hours a week. You will be passionate about our products and motivated to share inspiring home furnishings solutions with many people. Previous retail experience is desirable, but if you have a ‘roll up your sleeves’ mindset, we would love to hear from you!

What we offer:

  • The start date of employment will be: 31 May 2026.
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
  • Contract size of either 12 or 16 hours a week, which will include regular weekend work (Sat and Sun).
  • Shift times between Mon to Sat may be up until 21:00 pm in the evening.

  • Provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their home life.
  • Always be passionate about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
  • Support maximising sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop.
