What We Offer

  • Start Date: 4th July 2026
  • Hourly rate: £13.45
  • Part Time: 16-30 hours per week, 4-5 days out of 7, including late evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends
  • Full Time: 39 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including late evenings and alternate weekends

Please be aware that the IKEA Store is located outside of the city and links by public transport may be infrequent. If you will be using public transport to get to the store we ask you to consider your transport route before you apply. We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

What You'll Need to Have

You are skilled at forward planning and can handle several tasks at once with ease, and take pleasure in being a team member as well as fulfilling responsibilities on your own. You have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do. You take initiative, make well-informed choices, and engage with your daily tasks. You prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail. You are looking to develop yourself and the business, someone who can take initiative and work with business priorities to grow and develop sales.

What You'll Be Doing Day to Day

You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home. You are always interested in the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design. You support improving sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
