IKEA Nottingham are looking to welcome a Safety & Security Assistant to join our team. Are you passionate about safety, security, and customer service? We need a dedicated individual to be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, customers, and co‑workers. You'll ensure a safe environment by monitoring fire safety and security systems, responding to alarms, and supporting our Safety & Security function through CCTV.
Responsibilities include:
- Recording incidents and maintaining the Incident Reporting System
- Assisting with loss prevention
- Performing administrative tasks

What We Offer:
- Start date: 16th August 2026
- Hourly rate: £13.45 per hour
- 20 hours per week, 4 days, including 3 out of 4 weekends
- Working hours 7 am–9:30 pm, with flexibility to discuss fit during interview

What You’ll Need to Have:

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day:
- Meet and greet all persons entering the store and maintain access for visitors, contractors, customers and co‑workers
- Monitor fire safety and security systems, respond to alarms, initiate emergency response without delay and support the Safety & Security function through CCTV monitoring and review
- Record incidents and accidents; maintain the Incident Reporting System and assist with Loss Prevention and offending-detection activities
- Carry out administrative tasks, including audits, reports, record‑keeping and other support required for daily store operations
