IKEA Nottingham is looking for part‑time Swedish Food Market & Bistro Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team.
What we offer:
- Start date of employment: 5th July 2026
- Competitive hourly rate: £13.45 per hour
- 12 hours per week, working 3 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends
- Working hours between 8 am and 9:30 pm
- Flexibility to match your life and our business needs (to be discussed in interview)

What you’ll need to have:
- Previous food or customer‑service experience is beneficial but not required
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

- 18 years of age or older in compliance with health and safety guidelines
What you’ll be doing day‑to‑day:
- Prepare, cook and serve food; keep the Swedish Food Market and Bistro spotless, safe and welcoming
- Serve customers at the bistro till and create an exceptional customer experience
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements, including the removal of facial and ear piercings while on duty
- Support colleagues, lend a hand, and contribute to a positive work environment
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Perform manual handling safely
