IKEA Hammersmith are looking to welcome Store Assistants to our team on a temporary basis until 17th October 2026.

Overview

We're looking for a dynamic Store Assistant at IKEA Hammersmith to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

While your main focus will be in customer service or fulfilment, you'll embrace a multi-skilled role, ensuring product availability and an inviting shopping environment for all our customers.

What We Offer

  • The start date of employment will be: 22nd August 2026.
  • Competitive hourly rate of £14.80 per hour.
  • Working 30 hours per week across 5 days, including day shift, evening shifts and 3 in 4 weekends per month.
  • Shift patterns will start from 6.30AM.

  • Day to Day Responsibilities
  • You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers working across various departments throughout the day, supporting customers to find the right solutions for their life at home.
  • You are interested in the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design, keen to share this with our customers.
  • You support maximising sales by ensuring your areas of responsibility are clean, fully stocked, well presented, and easy to shop, with regular replenishment and upkeep of the Market Hall to keep it customer-ready.

Some products may involve heavy lifting.
