We are expanding our home delivery operation and have exciting opportunities to join our growing team as Delivery Drivers! As a Delivery Driver, you will shape a new area in our business, ensuring the on‑time delivery of IKEA goods to customers in the local area whilst delivering a high level of service.

What We Offer

  • Start Date: 13th June 2026
  • Full Time: 39 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7
  • Salary starting from £28,500 per annum, based on skills & experience

What You'll Need to Have

  • You must have held a Full UK Drivers License for a minimum of 24 months
  • Prepared to step up and problem solve when things aren’t right
  • Take Health & Safety seriously and are comfortable risk assessing your environment
  • Attentive to details, especially when performing checks on your vehicle
  • Experienced driver, proficient with GPS and maps
  • Willing to offer support and assist your team when necessary

What You'll Be Doing Day to Day

  • Responsible for completing vehicle safety checks and taking appropriate action
  • Load goods into the vehicle safely and organised, ensuring to meet allocated timings for each delivery
  • Deliver goods to customers’ homes, take them into a nominated room, carrying out risk assessments on location to prevent injury and damage to property
  • Handle a range of furniture items safely, using manual handling practices including both one and two person lifting
  • Deliver up to 3 runs per day, responsible for loading and unloading the van for each of these (van load capacity 1.4 tonnes)
  • Efficiently manage collection and processing of returned products, ensuring compliance with IKEA’s returns policy
