IKEA Glasgow are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team. Join the Food & Beverage team at IKEA Glasgow and help create the warm, welcoming experience our customers love, serving great food with great energy.

What we offer:

  • Start date of employment will be: 24th June.
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
  • Working 12 hours over weekends only, OR, 16 to 24 hours per week across 4 to 5 days, including day shift, evening shifts and 3 in 4 weekends per month.

What you’ll need to have:

  • While previous food and customer service experience can be beneficial, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a readiness to be actively involved in the work.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast‑paced environment.
  • Be self‑reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
  • Ability to remain organised and detail‑oriented, even when things get busy.
  • Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older.

  • The role will involve a variety of tasks, where you will be required to serve food, take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant and work behind the scenes to prepare food.
  • Customer focused, by working together to create the best customer experience.

  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co‑workers.
