IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team.

We have contracts working in our Customer Restaurant, Kitchen Production and Swedish Food Market/Bistro areas.

These are permanent, year-round contracts in a close-knit and motivated team.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Start date of employment will be 5th of September 2026.
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
  • 30 Hours working 5 days over 7 including 3 weekends out of 4
  • 20 Hours working 5 days over 7 including 3 weekends out of 4
  • 12 Hours working 2 days over 7 available to work two 6-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, 3 weekends out of 4 as well as ad hoc shifts through the week (Monday to Friday) is required.
  • All contracts require availability between the hours of 07:00am - 21:00pm

  • WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
  • While previous food and customer service experience can be beneficial, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a readiness to be actively involved in the work.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Be self‑reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
  • Ability to remain organised and detail‑orientated, even when things get busy.
  • Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older.

  • The role will involve a variety of tasks, where you will be required to serve food, take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant and work behind the scenes to prepare food.
