IKEA Warrington, WA5 7TY, is looking to welcome an Order Picking Assistant to join our hardworking Fulfilment team.

What We Offer

  • Start date of employment: 1st July 2026
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
  • 24 hours weekly, working 4 days per week including 3 out of 4 weekends.
  • Working hours from 8am to 10pm. Flexibility discussed during the interview.

What You'll Need to Have

  • Comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support stock checking and answer customer queries.
  • Proactively looking for tasks and using initiative to complete them efficiently.

  • Ability to work with guidance from a manager to achieve set goals within agreed timeframes using standard ways of working.

What You'll Be Doing Day to Day

  • Picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online and in‑store collection or delivery, including handing them to customers.
  • Receiving stock, picking, checking order accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery.
  • Meeting customers when they come to receive their items.
  • Working with internal systems to ensure customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times.
  • Ensuring products are always available by accurately and promptly completing tasks in the assigned warehouse area.
  • Committing to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and requirements and actively helping colleagues prevent incidents involving co‑workers, customers, equipment, building and IKEA products.
  • Contributing to optimized daily fulfilment operations by working in a lean, simple, and cost‑conscious way and sharing good examples.
  • Performing manual handling using safety protocols and pump trucks.
