IKEA Bristol are looking to welcome Nightshift Forklift Operators to join our hard‑working fulfilment team. As a Night Shift Warehouse Assistant you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, bringing energy, organisation and efficiency to our warehouse team.

Key Offerings

  • Start Date between 17th‑20th August 2026
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 with a night shift allowance of £2.25 per hour for hours worked between 10.00 pm‑6.00 am
  • After successful completion of Forklift Truck training “lift” bonus of £1.50 per hour applies
  • 39 hours per week over 5 nights, starting between 00:00‑02:00 am with alternate weekends included
  • Shift patterns finish at 10:00 am

Requirements

  • Commitment and ability to complete Forklift Truck training
  • Previous warehouse experience beneficial; motivation for a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload swiftly with attention to detail
  • Proven experience utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Ability to initiate tasks independently and to participate actively in group efforts
  • Compliance with health and safety guidelines (age 18 or older)

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift truck to move heavy stock, receive incoming goods and transport materials to designated locations while maintaining precise, up‑to‑date stock movement records
  • Work around heavy machinery (e.g., fork‑lift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks) to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse
  • Keep work area clear following good housekeeping practices, safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a secure environment
  • Manually handle all products ranging from LACK coffee tables to PAX wardrobes
