We have a fantastic opportunity for a full‑time Night Shift Warehouse Co‑worker to join our team as a Gatekeeper at our Belfast store on a permanent basis.

Key Details

  • Start date: 27 June 2026
  • Hourly rate: £13.45 with an additional £2.25 night shift allowance (10:00 pm–6:00 am)
  • 39 hours per week over 5 days in 7, including alternative weekend work
  • Earliest start 22:00 pm, latest finish 06:30 am
  • Flexibility to match your life and our business needs will be discussed during the interview

Responsibilities

  • Operate trailer gates safely and ensure trailer stands are secured
  • Log received damages and record trailer arrival and departure times
  • Verify accuracy and quality of stock received into the store
  • Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, co‑workers, and customers in compliance with health and safety guidelines
  • Use IT systems to record and monitor warehouse activity
  • Support and maintain relationships built around trust and the IKEA values

Qualifications

  • Proactive and energetic, able to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment
  • Excellent communication skills, confident and clear in verbal and written interactions
  • Experience working with or around heavy machinery (forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
  • Comfortable using IT systems
  • Minimum age 18 years, with compliance to health and safety guidelines
