IKEA Belfast are looking to welcome Customer Relations Assistants to join our team. Bring your problem‑solving flair and people skills to our Customer Relations team, where you’ll turn tricky moments into great experiences. From smooth returns to assembly advice and spotting product issues, you’ll be the go‑to expert who keeps customers smiling.
What we offer:
- Start Date of employment will be: 13th June 2026.
- Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
- 20 hours weekly working 4 days per week including evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends.
- 12 hours weekly working 3 days per week including evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends.
- Working hours are between 10am and 8:30pm. We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

What you’ll need to have:
- Adept at switching between tasks, value teamwork and able to complete assignments without direct supervision; this will cover the checkouts and returns desk.
- Customer‑first mindset, making the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
- Computer literate and able to work with technology.
- Confidence to maintain composure and patience when dealing with a variety of customers and complex complaints.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Use your knowledge and problem‑solving skills to resolve customer complaints, dealing positively and quickly with any issues raised.
- Ensure accurate handling of all returned products, highlighting and escalating any product issues immediately.
- Support customers experiencing difficulties in product assembly and be able to order and exchange spare parts where needed.
- Work on the checkouts, supporting customers with card & cash transactions.
