IKEA Belfast are looking to welcome co-workers to join our Kitchen and Restaurant teams in our hardworking IKEA Food Department.

Our Kitchen Production Team handle, prepare and serve meals to our customers and co-workers.

Our Restaurant team ensure a welcoming and efficient dining experience by clearing tables, operating the dishwasher and serving meals to our customers and co-worker.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Start date of employment will be 19th September
  • £13.45 per hour permanent contracts with advanced scheduling
  • Various contracts available, you will be asked your preference on application.
  • Evening and weekend availability required, 1 in 4 weekends off.
  • Flexibility will be discussed at interview, but evenings and weekend working will be expected
  • We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers

Due to Health & Safety regulations, some areas of the Food Department require applicants to be over the age of 18, this can be discussed at interview.

  • Prior Fast-Food experience is a plus
  • Experience in food preparation and adherence to food safety and regulations
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Be Self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
  • Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
  • Our ideal candidate is passionate and friendly with a roll up your sleeve mindset to work alongside the team and delivery a great customer experience.

  • These roles will involve a variety of tasks, where you will be required to serve food, work behind the scenes to prepare food, take payment at tills, clean your work area and operate the industrial dishwasher.
