IKEA Gateshead are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team.

We have multiple contracts available working across our Showroom and Market Hall departments, including Bedrooms, Cooking & Eating, Textiles, and Home Decoration.

In these roles, you'll support customers by helping them find inspiration and solutions for their homes, maintain attractive and well-stocked areas, and ensure the store is always ready to welcome visitors.

Depending on the department, this could involve sharing product knowledge, assisting customers with purchases, replenishing stock, creating inspiring room settings, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Whether you're helping a customer design their dream bedroom, choose products for their kitchen and dining space, refresh their home with textiles, or find the perfect decorative touches, you'll play an important role in bringing the IKEA experience to life.

  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
  • 12 & 16 hour contracts working 3/4 days per week including 3 weekends out of 4. Between the hours 09:00am - 22:00pm.
