Public Relations Communications Specialist required by a Global Asset Management firm and Investment Bank, based in London with the ability for hybrid working. You will provide execution support across Internal Communications and Public Relations, ensuring continuity of delivery while multiple team members are on leave. The position is delivery-focused, working with senior communications leaders on strategy and prioritisation.

Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Internal Communications
    • Draft and edit internal communications including leader notes, employee announcements, and change-related updates.
    • Adapt global content for local and regional relevance where appropriate.
    • Format, schedule, and publish communications across internal channels including email, Intranet, and collaboration platforms.
    • Act as a connector between Internal Communications and other Communications teams to support message consistency.
    • Provide execution support for major regional events and high-volume periods when multiple team members are out.
  • Public Relations & External Communications
    • Support senior PR leaders in the development and execution of media relations and product PR programmes.
    • Assist with proactive media engagement including reporter research, media list development, pitch materials, and follow-ups.

Skills and Knowledge required are as follows:

  • 7-10 years' experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Experience spanning both internal communications and external communications/PR strongly preferred.
  • Strong writing and editing skills across a range of audiences and channels.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Collaborative, execution-focused, and reliable approach.
  • Financial services or other regulated-industry experience is desirable. In-house and/or agency experience is welcomed.
