Reporting to the Kitchen Production Manager and responsible for the operations of the Kitchen production area. Assist in forecasting and purchasing of food and goods supply. Ensure an efficient operation by monitoring man-hours roster closely and supervise activities of co-workers in the Kitchen. You look into waste management, portioning and kitchen production as part of a continuous effort to improve the efficiency of the operations. Ensure that facilities of kitchen conform to safety & sanitary regulations and HACCP standards. Ensuring food safety procedures are carried out as and when. Assist in menu implementation and launches.

Qualifications

  • With at least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced and high-volume Kitchen operation, with proven leadership abilities and commercial acumen in ensuring effective cost and resource management.
  • Possess decision-making and problem-solving abilities with the drive to make things happen; computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office is required.
  • Have experience in supporting and implementing action plans.
  • You have experience in supervising and working with a diverse team.
  • Lead by example and enjoy sharing your knowledge in developing and coaching the co-workers to support our Store’s growth.
  • You are service-oriented, possess good culinary skills and are able to multi-task.
