We are looking for a motivated and self-driven Account Executive for South UK area to actively drive our sales growth for the laboratory and analytical technology in this region.
Your tasks:
- Increase brand awareness of IKA South UK area.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers and companies.
- Proactively creating new opportunities and penetrating new accounts to drive growth.
- Focus on increasing sales and achieving annual targets.
- Reporting and data maintenance in the CRM system.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and implement new business opportunities.
- Travel within the territory is required, home office is 1-2 days a week.
- Awareness of the territory and competitive landscape would be an advantage.
- Meeting with customers to understand existing and future challenges.
- Manage and coordinate tradeshows within the region and participate in them.
- Make sales analysis and submit weekly job report.
- Provide support with demonstrations, installations and customer training.
Your profile:
- Degree in a scientific or economic field (e.g. biology, chemistry or a related subject).
- Experience in sales or customer service is an advantage, but not essential.
- General work experience is expected.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and partners.
- Independent and structured way of working and willingness to take responsibility.
- Experience with Windows-based software, including MS Office, CRM and MRP software.
- Full Driving license and willingness to travel.
