With a broad portfolio of equipment such as agitators, dispersers, heating plates and much more, we help our customers to make their processes more efficient and sustainable.
We are looking for a motivated and self-driven Account Executive for the South UK area to actively drive our sales growth for laboratory and analytical technology in this region.
Your Tasks:
- Increase brand awareness of IKA in the South UK area
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers and companies
- Proactively creating new opportunities and penetrating new accounts to drive growth
- Focus on increasing sales and achieving annual targets
- Reporting and data maintenance in the CRM system
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and implement new business opportunities
- Travel within the territory is required, home office is 1-2 days a week
- Awareness of the territory and competitive landscape would be an advantage
- Meeting with customers to understand existing and future challenges
- Manage and coordinate tradeshows within the region and participate in them
- Make sales analysis and submit weekly job report
- Provide support with demonstrations, installations and customer training
Your Profile:
- Degree in a scientific or economic field (e.g. biology, chemistry or a related subject)
- Experience in sales or customer service is an advantage, but not essential. General work experience is expected
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and partners
- Independent and structured way of working and willingness to take responsibility
- Experience with Windows-based software, including MS Office, CRM and MRP software
- Full Driving license and willingness to travel
