IK is looking for its new Capital Markets Off-Cycle Analyst to support them during a full-time internship of 5 months from October 2026. The role will be full-time office-based.
The Team: As one of our new deal teams, the Capital Markets team works alongside our investment teams across all strategies to put in place viable and forward-looking capital structures for our current portfolio companies and potential investment opportunities. The intern will work across IK’s geographies to understand the portfolio companies’ funding needs and will identify the most suitable financing package from a variety of liquidity pools. Throughout the internship, the intern will have fantastic exposure to our business and an overview of all our investment activities.
The Role: As a Capital Markets intern, you will work closely with the investment professionals in IK's deal teams and will be involved in the assessment, structuring and execution of LBO financing for investment opportunities in Europe as well as in financing matters for existing Portfolio Companies.
- Assist with financial analysis, modelling, due diligence, structuring and documentation as well as portfolio monitoring for LBO financing.
- Investigate market trends in debt capital markets (private debt, leveraged loans, high-yield, etc.).
- Assist with presentations and maintaining databases.
Job requirements: Our Expectation:
- Relevant academic focus, e.g. finance/economics and engineering and excellent track record.
- Prior first work experience (ideally 6 months) through relevant internships in private equity/venture capital, investment banking/M&A advisory, strategic consulting or comparable internships. Capital Markets / Leveraged Finance experience a plus.
- Financially literate and analytical mindset.
- High level of attention to detail.
