This position is open to candidates who currently hold a valid work visa for the UK. The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Primarily focused on enterprise sales, capable of conducting sales activities and approaches in English (including internal communication).
- Skilled in consultative selling rather than product sales, and proficient in identifying and defining customer challenges through interviews, drafting proposals independently in either Japanese or English.
- Committed to managing sales targets (revenue and profit) within the scope of responsibility.
- Contribute to business insights and drive growth, while aligning with the company’s mid-term business plan.
- Expected to serve as a future leader, with a commitment to over five years of service and contribution.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both Japanese and English is required.
- Preferably, over five years of front-line sales experience at a Japanese IT System Integrator (SIer).
- Alternatively, sales experience at a consulting firm.
- We are looking for candidates with experience in consultative sales, who can manage end-to-end processes—from understanding customer requirements to proposal, implementation, and operation—rather than product sales or fixed-service sales typical of a System Integrator (SI) business.
