Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd line support to customers who have implemented SAP (mainly Japanese companies in the UK).
- Act as a communication bridge between the customer and their head office IT department when there are requests for additional functions.
- Define customer requirements and accurately convey them to the development department.
- Explain system specifications correctly to users and, if necessary, conduct user training.
Supported Modules: FI, CO, MM, SD (candidates with strengths in any of these areas are preferred).
Required Skills:
- Experience in supporting SAP modules, with a minimum of 5 years.
- Stakeholder management: Ability to progress problem-solving while considering constraints from the head office IT department, while being close to the customer.
- Basic knowledge of finance and accounting.
- Language: Japanese proficiency is essential (ability to converse in Japanese about system requirements with members from the head office).
- English proficiency (reading and writing required; conversational ability is not mandatory but must be able to communicate and have the willingness to study, with the potential to achieve B2 level for visa requirements).
Desirable Skills:
- SAP Associate/Professional certification.
