The ideal candidate will be:
- Responsible for implementing and delivering new UI features, services, and enhancements to the BestX product.
- Exhibiting superior skills in modern Agile, Cloud-based, Web Development.
- Developing understanding in Transaction Cost Analysis and key benchmarks required for MiFID and MiFIR.
- Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the application and influencing technology decisions.
- Taking ownership of tasks and ensuring their completion.
- Establishing best practices, clean code, and design patterns.
- Driving change through the organization.
- Advocating Test Driven Development and facilitating effective CI/CD processes.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Core/Must have skills
- 10+ years hands-on experience with Javascript, TypeScript, Websocket, React, Angular, Material UI, and REST APIs.
- Solid understanding of modern JavaScript build tools like node, npm, rush, yarn, webpack, babel, Cyprus.
- Programming experience with modern languages such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design, distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases like PostGres.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or other modern cloud infrastructure.
Good to have skills
- Knowledge/expertise in FX/Fixed Income/Equity/Equity Derivatives products.
- Experience in system architecture and design, including patterns, reliability, and scaling.
