Responsibilities
- Partnering with the fixed income investment directors and investment teams to develop a strong understanding of investment strategies and market positioning.
- Acting as the lead expert for fixed income products and investment strategies coverage, working with internal business partners and selectively for client engagement.
- Driving investment narrative to support the investment directors team in delivering fixed income subject matter expertise at client meetings, conferences, events and other external engagements.
- Helping to drive key messages and product positioning to differentiate the firm's fixed income capabilities and solutions across regions.
- Working closely with Sales and Marketing to facilitate the sales strategy, marketing approach and client requirements.
- Contributing to the analysis of market trends and competitive landscape to understand investor requirements and how these impact the firm's fixed income capabilities.
- Contributing to the overall strategy of the firm's fixed income capabilities, including new product strategy ideas.
- Enhancing relationships with key internal stakeholders across regions including Europe, Asia and the US.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree; CFA or Masters preferred.
- 10+ years of experience within asset management in an investment specialist/product strategy role.
- Proven in-depth fixed income knowledge.
- Excellent presentation skills and communication with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies.
