Are you passionate about empowering children and young people to shape the services that affect their lives? We’re looking for a Voice and Influence Worker to join a dynamic team in Rotherham. This is a 3+ month contract, working full‑time from the office, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the voices of children in care and care leavers are heard, respected, and acted upon.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate inclusive group work and 1:1 sessions that help children express their views.
- Advocate for Children in Care and Care Leavers, ensuring their voices influence decisions.
- Lead youth‑led initiatives such as the Youth Cabinet, Young Inspectors, and consultation events.
- Support co‑production of policies, campaigns and strategies with young people.
- Represent children\'s voices in senior forums, including the Corporate Parenting Partnership Board.
- Build strong relationships with professionals, parents and carers to embed the voice of the child in planning and service delivery.
- Promote awareness of youth‑led campaigns at local, regional and national levels.
- Maintain accurate records and manage budgets in line with RMBC policy.

- Confidence in planning, risk assessing and facilitating group work.
- Strong understanding of advocacy, co‑production and inclusive practice.
