As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a driven and capable Site Manager to lead a large team and play a key role in reshaping and enhancing housekeeping and cleaning operations within a premium hotel environment.
About the Role
As a Site Manager at IHS, you will oversee the daily delivery of housekeeping and public area services at a flagship hotel site in Sydney. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to lead a large team and influence how operations are structured, optimised, and delivered. You’ll drive performance, uplift service standards, and help shape a high‑performing, service‑focused culture. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll work closely with hotel stakeholders while leading supervisors, team leaders, and attendants to ensure smooth, efficient operations and an exceptional guest experience. This role operates on a variable roster across 7 days per week, aligned to the needs of a fast‑paced hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day housekeeping and public area operations
- Lead, coach, and support Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Attendants
- Oversee rostering, labour allocation, and daily operational reporting
- Conduct quality inspections and service audits across rooms and public areas
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel management
- Respond to operational challenges and drive service improvements
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing team development
- Ensure compliance with WHS, hygiene, and infection control standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices
About You
- 2–4 years’ experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or facilities operations
- Experience in fast‑paced hotel environments preferred
- Proven ability to lead or supervise teams in an operational setting
- Experience in 4‑ or 5‑star hotels highly regarded
- Strong organisational, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Confident using rostering systems and reporting tools
- Solid understanding of WHS and hygiene compliance standards
