We’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to join the partnerships team at IHR. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys consultative sales, building relationships and creating valuable partnerships across events, membership, content and community. The role is hybrid, with one day per week spent with the team in London and the remaining four days working remotely.

The role
As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating and growing commercial partnerships with new and existing clients. You’ll be selling a range of partnership opportunities including event sponsorship, exhibition packages, webinars, awards partnerships, digital content campaigns and bespoke brand visibility opportunities.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Building relationships with new and existing commercial partners
- Selling sponsorship, event, webinar, awards and content opportunities
- Managing the full sales cycle from first conversation through to proposal and close
- Understanding client goals and recommending the most relevant partnership options
- Attending IHR events to meet partners, prospects and members
- Working closely with our marketing, events and membership teams to deliver partner value
- Keeping your pipeline, activity and opportunities thriving through our HubSpot CRM
