An amazing opportunity for a driven and creative Marketing Executive to join us at Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel and InterContinental Edinburgh’s Cluster Marketing Team on a Full-Time contract! We are offering a salary of £28,000.00 – £35,000.00, depending on experience. At Kimpton, we pride individuality and being the best version of you.

What will you be doing? As a Marketing Executive, you will support the Senior Marketing Manager in delivering a wide range of marketing activity – from social media and newsletters to website updates and campaign delivery. The work is fast-paced and varied, requiring you to juggle multiple deadlines while applying logical thinking to creative briefs to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and scheduling content across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Assisting with website updates and newsletters (WordPress, Mailchimp or similar).
  • Coordinating with hotel teams to execute campaigns and activations.
  • Prioritising tasks effectively, often under tight timelines, while keeping a close eye on detail.
  • Contributing to new ideas and trend-based content, balanced with logical, brand-aligned execution.

To succeed as a Marketing Executive, you will need:

  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation, with an understanding of trends and best practices.
  • Strong organisational skills – able to juggle competing priorities and deliver at pace.
  • A logical approach to problem-solving and applying structured thinking to creative briefs.
  • Good technical knowledge: video editing and design skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop), website CMS (WordPress), and newsletter platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of licensing, copyright, brand guidelines, and platform policies.
  • A good understanding of luxury hospitality and familiarity with Edinburgh’s cultural scene, communities, and trendmakers is strongly preferable.
  • Enthusiasm to learn, grow, and take the next steps in your marketing career.
