voco Grand Central Hotel is on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated Full Time Kitchen Porter to join our energetic Kitchen Brigade. As a Kitchen Porter, your main duties and responsibilities will be working in our fast-paced Kitchen environment and supporting the team by washing our cooking equipment, keeping the area clean and tidy and ensuring sanitisation of important workspaces.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Experience working as a Kitchen Porter or as Prep Chef would be preferred.
- Ability to work independently, working to time deadlines and at a fast pace.
- An un-stuffy, thoughtful approach to service.
- An interest in our environment and sustainability – we are characterised by innovation and finding ways to become more sustainable.
