We are looking for an authentic and driven Security Team Member (Part-Time) to join us at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel! Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is a Manchester icon - a bold blend of grand Victorian architecture and playful, contemporary design. What do you need to be a Security Team Member? Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Working behind the scenes and on the front line to ensure our Hotel is a safe and secure environment for our guests and colleagues.
- Carrying out regular patrols, monitoring CCTV, managing access control, and responding to incidents when they arise.
- Ensuring the hotel remains fully compliant with all health and safety and security regulations.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Availability to work 20 hours per week (weekend availability and flexibility for shift patterns essential).
- Previous experience working as a Security Officer within a Hotel, Leisure or Customer-Facing environment is preferred.
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor License is essential for this role, as well as a strong understanding of safety and emergency procedures.
- A strong and confident communicator who is able to remain calm under pressure.
- A willingness to learn new things and work as part of our wider Hotel team.
- A drive to produce results and deliver extremely personal experiences and genuine human connection.
- A warm and authentic personality, with a can-do attitude and commitment to service.
