We are looking for an authentic and driven Security Team Member (Part-Time) to join us at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel! What do you need to be a Security Team Member? Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Working behind the scenes and on the front line to ensure our Hotel is a safe and secure environment for our guests and colleagues.
  • Carrying out regular patrols, monitoring CCTV, managing access control, and responding to incidents when they arise.
  • Ensuring the hotel remains fully compliant with all health and safety and security regulations.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Availability to work 20 hours per week (weekend availability and flexibility for shift patterns essential).
  • Previous experience working as a Security Officer within a Hotel, Leisure or Customer-Facing environment is preferred.
  • A valid SIA Door Supervisor License is essential for this role, as well as a strong understanding of safety and emergency procedures.
  • A strong and confident communicator who is able to remain calm under pressure.
  • A willingness to learn new things and work as part of our wider Hotel team.
  • A drive to produce results and deliver extremely personal experiences and genuine human connection.
  • A warm and authentic personality, with a can-do attitude and commitment to service.
  • A willingness to work as part of a team that embraces our culture and delights our guests every day.
