voco Grand Central Hotel are looking for our next Full Time Front Office Receptionist to join us in creating a warm voco welcome for our guests! Our locally curated voco Grand Central stands strong in Glasgow’s city centre, bringing together un-stuffy service and a warm Glasgow welcome to our business and leisure guests alike. Holding the biggest ballroom in Scotland with natural light and our iconic award-winning Champagne Central Bar, our Hotel is full of over 140 years of culture, history and story-telling with our relaxing spaces for guests to enjoy.

As a Front Office Receptionist, your main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Checking in and out our guests
  • Dealing with any queries or complaints
  • Welcoming our guests to the city
  • Interacting with them to encourage them to join our loyalty program
  • Providing special experiences and recognising our loyal IHG One Rewards members

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week across a variety of shifts
  • Experience working as a Receptionist, Concierge or Guest Services Agent at a 4/5* Hotel is beneficial
  • Confident working on Hotel systems, experience working with Opera specifically is a big plus
  • An un-stuffy, thoughtful approach to service
  • An interest in our environment and sustainability
