At Kimpton Fitzroy London, we are looking for Full Time Hosts to join our team in Fitz’s Bar with an immediate start! Located in the heart of Kimpton Fitzroy London, Fitz’s Russell Sq. features three opulent spaces with unique personalities. Here guests can dine on quintessentially British cuisine, sip finely crafted cocktails and savour a late-night tipple (or two). Join us to help create a London experience like no other!
As a Host, we will support you to:

- Lead yourself – we trust you to make decisions and exert your creativity in order to provide our guests with heartfelt human connections.
- Make it count – you matter, and we will provide you with all the tools you need in order to create ridiculously personalised experiences for our guests every day!
As our Host, you will be responsible for welcoming customers into a Bar, creating an appropriate atmosphere for all guests, greeting guests and showing them to their respective tables. You will be the first point of contact providing a personalised service, dealing with customers' queries and concerns and assisting with large parties and VIPs whilst ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in the front of house areas.
The ideal candidate must be willing and able to work late into the evening. To be a success in this role you will need to have:
- 2 years’ experience as a waiter or bartender in a busy restaurant and/or bar, experience leading small teams.
- Passion for delivering great service and great food and drinks.
- Knowledge of both Micros Simphony (POS) and OpenTable Pro (TMS) an advantage, other POS and TMS essential.
- Confidence and natural leadership capability.
- Experience with handling guests' queries and concerns.
- The desire to learn new things and work as part of a wide hotel team.
