A fantastic opportunity to join Scotland’s first and only Le Petit Beefbar Restaurant, at The InterContinental Edinburgh The George on a Full-Time contract! You will earn £14.60 per hour – equal to £30,368.00 salary, plus service charge.
This highly exclusive restaurant born in Monte Carlo in 2005 is the epitome of creativity and luxury service, by taking on international and local dishes with a focus on quality ingredients. Riccardo Giraudi has created Beefbar to break tradition and introduce a modern take on incredibly well-thought out but simple dishes divided into 3 sections – sexy street food, great meat cuts and iconic dishes.
InterContinental Edinburgh The George is home to the first and only Beefbar in Scotland and we are proud to be making a mark on Edinburgh’s food and drink scene.
As a Head Waiter, your main duties and responsibilities will be supporting our Restaurant Manager to run our Le Petit Beef Bar. You will support in the absence of the manager to run the restaurant and deal with any high-level service recoveries, making sure that our customers are being provided the best service possible. You will also be involved with the training of new starters and continuous development of our team members, you will be someone who is passionate about leading by example!
To succeed as a Head Waiter, you will need:
- Experience working within a Restaurant, Bar or Hotel as a Supervisor, Team Leader or Assistant Manager (or evidence of steps you have taken to be ready for progression).
- Experience developing and coaching team members to make sure that they are performing at their best.
- A warm and authentic personality, with a can-do attitude and commitment to service.
- Passion for providing luxury experiences, not shy to go above and beyond to personalise our Guests' stay and provide your local wisdom to enhance their experience!
