Joining the IHG portfolio in Summer 2026 as Canary Riverside Plaza London, Vignette Collection - this exciting new chapter marks the brand’s first property in London. Set in the heart of Canary Wharf with stunning views across the River Thames and London skyline, the hotel features 142 luxurious guestrooms and suites, stylish dining spaces, meeting and events facilities and access to a luxury health club, spa and pool. As part of Vignette Collection, the hotel blends luxury hospitality with authentic, experiential and considerate travel while celebrating individuality, locality and meaningful guest experiences in one of London’s most dynamic destinations.

This role is 40 hours per week, shift pattern of 5 nights out of 7. As a Front Office Nights Manager, your day-to-day will be driven by our Guests needs, however you can expect to cover the following duties and responsibilities (not all encompassing):

  • Completing the Night Audit and closing of our outlets, managing the end of night cash count, and highlighting any discrepancies.
  • Ensuring any late arrivals are met with a genuine welcome and that their needs are attended throughout the night.
  • Communicating internally within the front office and externally, both with the wider hotel team and immediate locale, to ensure the safety of our guests and team members throughout the night (completing relevant safety checks as required).
  • Ensuring all Team Members have completed relevant training and are confident with all aspects of their role – you will be someone who enjoys to lead and motivate your team!
  • Managing the shift you are working, dealing with complex guest requests or complaints and making sure all tasks within the Team have been completed.

We are searching for someone who is passionate about people, thrives on delivering authentic service and takes pride in creating thoughtful guest experiences. In addition to this, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Front Office Nights duty management and team leadership experience for 2+ years in a property of similar size & standard.
  • Depth of experience dealing with complex service recoveries, you will be someone who is confident to make decisions regarding guest complaints to ensure a positive outcome for the guest and leading our team by example.
  • Proven track record with success at working with loyalty schemes and enrolments.
  • Good understanding of systems to support driving results, experience working with opera would be a plus.
