At voco Grand Central Hotel and Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel, we are looking for a Cluster Human Resources Advisor (Full-Time) to join us! We are looking for someone who can commit to Full-Time, across Monday to Friday. This role is based on-site between our HR offices at voco Grand Central Hotel and Kimpton Blythswood Hotel.
As an HR Advisor your main duties and responsibilities will be to support our HR Business Partner in all things people-related across our 2 properties (with circa 400 employees across the properties). This role will have a significant focus on absence management and employee relations cases, whilst also being actively involved in employee engagement initiatives and working closely with our Learning and Development Manager and Talent Acquisition Advisor in relation to L&D and TA. You will be someone who is confident working to your own initiative, whilst also having excellent team-working skills working alongside our HR Business Partner and 2 HR Coordinators. This is a fast-paced generalist role which covers a wide range of duties, so someone who can adapt to new tasks and prioritise workloads is an essential part of this role.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A minimum of 2 years working in a Generalist Human Resources Advisor role with a combination of education and experience with a high track record of building relationships and having excellent communication skills.
- Experience working within a fast-paced Hospitality environment or similar sector such as retail would be desirable.
- A college or University qualification in Human Resources, Employment Law or a similar field would be beneficial (CIPD qualification would be a bonus but there is no requirement for this).
- Strong IT and HR systems experience, beneficial to have worked with Oracle as an HR system previously.
- Strong absence management and employee relations experience, with clear knowledge of employment law specifically to this.
