We are seeking an experienced and proactive Reservations Manager to lead our Reservations team at our luxury hotel. In this key role, you will oversee daily operations, drive revenue and occupancy targets, and ensure exceptional guest service. As the main link between internal departments and external partners, you will manage performance, mentor the team, and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Reservations team to ensure departmental efficiency.
- Be a champion of continuous improvement and support the hotel in its ELEVATE journey.
- Support the Director of Revenue in delivering overall commercial strategy, in line with company’s goals.
- Achieve and exceed budgeted targets for revenue, occupancy, and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximise room revenue and occupancy levels, including managing inventory, and implementing upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
- Support the Reservations team in prioritising reservation enquiries and ensuring that all communications are actioned within 24 hours.
- Handle Luxury and Lifestyle guest reservations, focusing on personalised service and ensuring a seamless booking experience.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop team members through performance management and training.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, external partners, and guests.
- Foster a customer-first culture, providing proactive solutions and maintaining a high standard of guest service.
- Utilise Opera PMS to manage and analyse reservation data, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
To succeed as our Reservations Manager, you will need:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory reservations role within a luxury hotel of similar size and standard.
- Strong proficiency in Opera Property Management System (PMS).
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail and a guest-focused mindset.
