Nestled in the iconic Beetham Tower, this hotel features 279 elegantly designed rooms with stunning skyline views. Enjoy upscale amenities, including sky bar Cloud 23, 2 Rosette Podium Restaurant, an indoor pool, and a fitness centre. Perfect for both business and leisure travellers, with 14 meeting rooms and over 1,800 square feet of event space. The Manchester Deansgate Hotel will fully transition to the InterContinental brand by 2027, enhancing your stay with our signature luxury and service. As a Meetings, Groups and Events Executive (Full-Time), you can expect to carry out the following duties… Working within the reactive team to build strong client relationships through regular contact by phone, email, and in-person (experience in a commercial team, ideally in a 4 or 5* property or destination venue is desired) Respond to M&E enquiries according to company standards and manage enquiries to maximise sales, occupancy, and revenue, including up-selling hotel facilities Manage bookings via in-house system, create written confirmations, and contracts (you will need high attention to detail, ensuring brand standards and revenue maximisation). Liaise with clients to gather accurate event and reservation details whilst delivering excellent service via face-to-face and telephone interactions (strong communication skills required). Accurately input all enquiries into Sales system Work collaboratively within both the commercial team and wider hotel Consider prevention, recovery, and investigation of any complaints (problem-solving and guest care skills is essential). Typically, this role will operate Monday to Friday office hours, however you will be required to work weekends and evenings as and when business requires. Any hours over your contracted 40 hours per week, will be paid.
