About the role

IDEA Services supports people with intellectual disabilities to enjoy great lives at home and as part of their community. As a Support Worker, you will support clients with complex needs, manage risk, ensure safety, and provide individual care throughout the night. Previous experience in the disability sector or aged care is preferred. Experience in caregiving or providing personal care for adults is preferred. A calm nature and confidence to work with challenging behaviours. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepovers. Proficient in using computers and tablets daily. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support. Full NZ driver's license.
