We are recruiting registered clinicians to join a Functional Assessor team delivering Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Work Capability Assessment (WCA) services in Watford. This is a structured, assessment‑based role for healthcare professionals looking to move away from shift work, frontline pressures, or hands‑on clinical care into a predictable, office‑hours position. The role is non‑clinical, non‑hands‑on, and focused on professional judgement, communication, and structured report writing. This is a Monday to Friday role with hybrid working, supported by a comprehensive training programme.

  • Salary: £45,300–£48,000 plus approval and performance‑related bonus

The role

Assessments are completed via telephone, video consultation, or face‑to‑face (non‑clinical setting). All appointments are pre‑booked with appropriate time allocated per assessment. You will typically complete 3 to 5 assessments per day, depending on assessment type.

  • Minimum 12 months post‑registration clinical experience
  • Strong communication and report‑writing skills
