An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing and highly regarded Financial Planning business. Working as part of a professional and collaborative team, you will provide technical support to Financial Advisers, helping to deliver high-quality financial planning solutions to a broad client base. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection and wider financial planning solutions.
  • Prepare accurate, compliant and detailed suitability reports.
  • Support Financial Advisers with technical case preparation and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate client records, risk profiles and compliance documentation.
  • Respond to adviser and client queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory developments and changes within the financial planning sector.
  • Work closely with advisers and administrators to achieve positive client outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Financial Planning environment.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent), or actively working towards completion.
  • Experience preparing detailed and compliant suitability reports.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, retirement planning, taxation and financial services regulation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
