An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing and highly regarded Financial Planning business. Working as part of a professional and collaborative team, you will provide technical support to Financial Advisers, helping to deliver high-quality financial planning solutions to a broad client base. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection and wider financial planning solutions.
- Prepare accurate, compliant and detailed suitability reports.
- Support Financial Advisers with technical case preparation and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate client records, risk profiles and compliance documentation.
- Respond to adviser and client queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Keep up to date with regulatory developments and changes within the financial planning sector.
- Work closely with advisers and administrators to achieve positive client outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Financial Planning environment.
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent), or actively working towards completion.
- Experience preparing detailed and compliant suitability reports.
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, retirement planning, taxation and financial services regulation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
