About the role

We are recruiting registered Nurses (RGN, RMN and RNLD) to work as Functional Assessors, delivering Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Work Capability Assessment (WCA) services in Guildford. This role offers an alternative to hands‑on clinical work, with a structured working environment and predictable hours. It focuses on carrying out assessments and producing written reports, rather than providing treatment or direct patient care.

  • Location: Guildford assessment centre
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday, office hours only
  • Hybrid working: A mixture of working from home and in the local office
  • No shift work, nights or weekends

Training

All roles require completion of a full‑time training programme. This is a minimum of 9 weeks but may be longer depending on individual progress or any periods of absence.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with a valid NMC registration
  • Minimum 12 months post‑registration clinical experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using IT systems
  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
