What you'll do:
- Provide strategic and operational clinical leadership as Medical Director.
- Oversee medical workforce planning, appraisals, revalidation and practising privileges.
- Lead clinical governance, investigations, incident/complaint reviews and crisis management.
- Ensure safe, effective medical cover (including out-of-hours arrangements).
- Maintain your own clinical caseload within a private addictions service.
- Represent the service with commissioners, partners and stakeholders.
What you'll bring:
- MRCPsych (or equivalent), CCT (or equivalent), Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician status.
- Listed on the GMC specialist register in Psychiatry.
- Minimum three years at Consultant level with evidence of MDT leadership.
- Experience in Addictions and General Adult Psychiatry; values-based, evidence-led practice.
- Leadership/management training or willingness to undertake it.
