Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Tewkesbury to work with our client, who is the UK's leading Logistics & Distribution provider.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
  • Bulk collections and deliveries
  • Delivering cages, pallets, stillages and freight to customers' homes
  • Working to a delivery schedule
  • Some handballing will be required
  • Scanning consignments in and out required
  • Vehicle checks and the usual defect and delivery paperwork expected

As this is a customer-facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and have the ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:

  • You must have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially.
  • You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
  • Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
  • As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements.
  • You will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.
  • You must be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
